Traveller Universe on Windows XP

I installed Universe on my Win XP machine and I got an error during install that said "Unable to install populated test database".

Upon launch it says there is a license error and to contact the author.

Any chance this is something simple?

It depends how technical you are. Basically there was a hic-cup during the installation. It's not a biggy (and it's happened to a few people). To fix you need to check each part, manually perform any missing steps, and load a small registry file to clear the license "error" message.

If you send an email to support@trisen.com I'll send you the registry file and talk you through the process in detail. If I had direct access to your machine it would be a 10 minute job but as I don't (unless you're in Victoria BC) expect a few emails to go back and forth while each step is checked.
