So, it looks like the one at Wikia is gone, and the one here doesn't seem to work. Are there any other wikis, or at least something encyclopedic sites still out there? Is this one planning on being fixed?

Bonus question (reason I was looking): What book talks about the Empress Wave? It seems to be something most people know about except me.

TNE Traveller 1248 Out of Darkness talks about the Empress wave and a lot of other things as well. It can be purchased at FFE on TNE disc 2.

Yes I am, and yeah, Aberrant was more popular than Trinity, which I suspect may have contributed to its premature downfall. :nonono: But I liked Aberrant more than I suspected. As usual, WW can take something, like a genre I don't really like (not that big on superhero games), and make it great. I do love my Ab character. I still prefer Trinity though because of the universe they created for it. Aberrant was not much different than today. With superpowers. I like my spaceships, aliens, and laser guns. That's why I'm here too.

The Wikia Content is moving to here, soon. Just waiting on final tidbits on the server upgrade status.

http://travellerwiki.org/Main_Page is the good one, without all the pop-ups and crap. It still points to a lot of Webring nonsense from the '90s and Alta Vista days though.

The first one gives me this when I go there: "This is not the wiki you're looking for! We didn't recognize the URL you provided. Head over to search and find the wiki of your dreams here." The second one works though, thanks!

Be careful about the http://traveller.wikia.com because it pops up a message stating your Java is old and that you should update. It is a fake message, if you know what I mean.

I don't get that, just says the wiki doesn't exist. And if I do a search for Traveller, it doesn't bring it up either.

You will find that travellerwiki.org is the new location for the Traveller Wiki, and the traveller wikia site is gone.

Chrome goes to a "Not_a_valid_Wikia" page on Wikia. Spam central.

I was one of the Admins on the Traveller wiki on Wikia for seven years. The Wikia version of the Traveller Wiki has been taken down by the Wikia staff. The Content of the Traveller wiki has been (as previously noted) moved to http://travellerwiki.org/. I posted an explantion.

Also as noted, the Traveller Wiki will be moving again to this site (travellerrpg.com) when the server upgrades are completed.

In the mean time, I invite everyone to come by and peruse, add content, and otherwise enjoy the Library. I will continue to be the primary wiki administrator. If you see strange things, unusual errors, or have other questions you can leave a message on my talk page, or leave a message here.

Some of the recent edits from the Wikia wiki, as well as users' contributions pages, seem to have gotten mangled in the process of moving the wiki (mine is shown as empty, despite the edits I made when the wiki was still on Wikia).

I figured out how to make the page edits from Wikia reflected into your current user list. If anyone else was making changes on Wikia and would like to have their page edits show up, let me know and I'll hook you up too.
