travelling in a nebula, thoughts?

would be a head scratcher, how to get in to salvage a ship you know is there but jumping into the system where it is impossible and jumping to the edge and m-driving in would take waaaay to long? but the target is waaay to valuable not to recover...:smirk:

well I didn't say it'd be easy.

It'd be a scenario that would take some careful setup to get done right.

The Zhodani Core Expeditions go thru a decade of cold sleep as they move towards the core, so it might involve jumping to the nearest hex and then going in STL and preparing for something along the scope of that timetable.

Not your average, well today we'll jump over here and do business as usual.

Sounds like something a megacorp could sponsor or a smaller business who are taking a fairly
large gamble. Then you have to get back out. That ship better be paid for or that's
going to be one hell of a charter.

Hmmmmm...... Several trips bringing in fuel, left at the edge of the nebula, then bring in the salvage crew and supplies. Manuever in, transfer the crew, start ferrying in fuel to get the salvaged ship out. Yeah - it would take a while. But, it might be worth it to somebody...... :smirk:

Weren't there a few Ahzanti High Lightnings that were lost ?

Well you could pick just about anything, say even some Shivva's or
Leviathans.

Might be fun to either make it a race or have someone else there
when you get there.
