Useful STARPORTS page...

Found this page on Starports. It's a well done write-up.

I must have contributed to this years ago because I'm listed in the credits, but I haven't used that e-mail address in several years. My guess it was contributions made to the TML back in the day.

Still, it's a very good starports page for those of you who want to detail your starports in your games.

It's not a well-done writeup at all. It's a jumble of at least three separate hulking chunks of ideas that never got integrated.

The first two huge chunks were extrapolated from threads in the TML around 1997-1998, whence cometh the TML contributors. I like the center chunk the best -- a component catalog with prices. But the prices aren't cross-checked with elements that can be built using a Traveller design system. Plus some assumptions made aren't necessarily true.

So while there are great ideas in there, there's a lot of problems as well.

Nevertheless, thank you for the compliment.
