Vilani Music?

Very interesting Babylonian music - vocals and melodies as translated off the original cuneiform and played on traditional instruments. I seem to recall the Vilani language is somewhat related to Sumerian or Hittite? So maybe their music might sound a little like this:

Given that the Vilani had to be picked up before 300,000 or so years ago, that would rule out any possible connection to Earth languages. Hittite does not seem to be related to anything else, while Sumerian has some Semitic elements. You could use it as Vilani music, as it would be quite unlike anything of today.

That, was, amazing. Haunting, passionate, strange and still familiar as a human voice. I am deeply moved.

Definitely using that in my game.

Yes, me too. It really hit a deep, primitive note with me and stays with me. It is strangely easy to imagine what that would sound like echoing through the shadows of the ziggurats.
