Visual Comparison of Old and New CT CD Scans (and OCR)

I've posted a comparison image of a section of LBB6 Scout along with chunks of OCR'ed text from both for side-by-side comparison.

Note that the images from each scan are to different scales. The new scan has 4x or more of the resolution of the old one.

Have I mentioned that I'm extremely, immensely pleased with it, with the deal that it's free when buying another disk, and that the results were well worth the wait?

I can hardly wait for the JTAS CD update now. But I will, because it's worth it for the results.
