Volunteer(s) Requested

And I do mean volunteer, at least initially. I'm currently working the drafts for an equipment book, a vehicle book, and a ship book. The intention is to make weapons, vehicles and ships dual-statted, for both 2320 and 2300AD.

However, as I've noted previously, most, if not all, of my 2300AD stuff is in storage. So, I'm going to need someone to go over the 2320 stats and convert them to 2300AD. For the Equipment and Vehicle books, this will be relatively easy. Payment will be a free copy of the book when done, possibly more depending on the amount of work involved.

It's the ship book that gets tricky. Essentially, every ship in the book will have to be redesigned using NAM. This could be quite a bit of work, and I don't know what the payment would be. Actual money is Hunter's department. A free copy, of course, but it may get no further than a PDF.

If anyone is interested, please PM me. I'm only looking for a couple of people for the Equipment and Vehicles books.

Oh, and one last thing, just so that there is no misunderstanding. :) If you don't like my approach, that's fine. Tell me what you think. However, at the end of the day, I will make my own decisions.

>Essentially, every ship in the book will have to be redesigned using NAM

I'd be happy to consider taking some of it on if its just rewrite this concept of some ships using the NAM as published and I can have at least 2 weeks to do it all

otherwise:-

You're going to have to specify a bit more eg with which errata applied etc for NAM.

the errata to apply for T20 system ..... I don't think thats been released in finalised format either (like the 2320 book)

2320AD doesn't take a whole lot from T20 as far as ship design goes. More so for vehicle designs. Really, only hull-form, dtons, size mods, and structural integrity. Everything else is mine. And it really is mine. It has not been purchased yet by Hunter/QLI, only the output from it.

I'm actually going to do a full review of the starship design system right now. Go through my spread sheet, make sure everything is correct. Hopefully, I'll catch any issues and implement them before v2 is released.

As far as I'm concerned, only official errata, published or approved by GDW, can be considered for this project.

I'd like to help with a few designs as well - but timing could work into this. When would it be?

Does it include the ships in the basic book as well?

Ship book is only in rough outline. I don't expect to do anything with it for at least a month, more like two. Of course, if my house finally sells, then all bets are off. The family move to Vancouver Island will take precedence over everything.

The first ship books is likely to be a "Ships of Known Space" sort of deal, touching on several very common designs, ones that are liable to be found throughout human space.

By a month or two from now, Project Arcturus should be finished. One way or the other. I'll be glad to help.

And if all bets are off anyway, I'll do what I can.
