has anyone got a copy of this that they are willing to sell. alternativly im interested in the system it contains for generating trade traffic between worlds. many thanks in advance

Well, I just went through this process myself about a month ago. I wasn't willing to pay the silly prices I have been seeing on eBay, so I went webcrawling to see if I could find a copy.

I eventually did, at a place called Friends' Hobby (http://www.friendshobby.com/). Unfortunately, when I just rechecked the link this morning, it didn't work. Assuming this is just a minor ISP or maintenance issue, you might want to check back with them later.

(Do be aware that they do the ebusiness as a sideline and treat it as such. I received very good service; just don't expect an online order form or anything.)

Aren't these still commercially available, in other words, still in print? Which means you can find them at your FLGS?

No, Far Trader is OOP, though if SJG does some GURPS Traveller reprints, it's probably near the top of the list (along with First In).

No it is not available. I looked. The only place I found it, aside from eBay at $35-50, was at Friends' Hobby.

BTW, the site is back up, they are selling it for list, and they say they have two copies.

many thanks to those who requested to this post. particularly to swordsage, i apologise that it took me to now to reply but on the same day that you posted your offer i got in touch with a relative who thought he could get a copy for me so i had to wait. got my copy last night. maybe someone else would want it.
