I liked the old Judges Guild Traveller campaign set in the Gateway Quadrant, especially the Gimmerdrift Reaches with its Man-Danin Codominium and the enigmatic Zarians.

Was anything done with this in later developments of the Traveller universe? Was the Judges Guild concept respected, trashed, modified, what?

Any info would be appreciated.

My memory is hazy on this, but I believe that the JG Gateway and Glimmerdrift sectors were canon during the CT era, but then were invalidated as canon when MT came out. That's the part I'm hazy on--I can't remember exactly when those two sectors (actually more than two--there were a few sectors given over CT licensees for development that were invalidated).

For T20, Gateway was completely re-written--lots of material by MJD--that has nothing to do with the old JG sector.

I'm sure someone will be along soon to correct me--as I said, I'm hazy.

JG's 4 sectors were invalidated simultaneously... in Atlas of the Imperium. Along with every other 3PP's sectors that were not included.
