Well, you aren't quite a monopoly breaker, but you show promise

Mine's an "aged" Power Macintosh 8600/300 (about a 400-450MHz equivalent to you Wintel people), 160MB RAM, with MacOS 8.6. It's nearly four years old now, but I prefer it to the Celeron at work by leaps...

Some flavor of G4 tower is next on the wish list...

I am increasingly of the opinion that RPGs are by the nature of their creation subjective phenomenon. due to the interaction between game designers, game masters, and game players all definitions, rules, settings, and adventures are mutable in acordance with the uncertainty principle as expounded by Heisenburg. This is of course merely my point of view.

Ok, I'll bite.

To answer your question:

Primary System:
Sun Blade 100, 500mhz UltraSparc II,512 mb, 15gb, xvga quality video, and a cdrw running Solaris 8 MU5 and Gnome 1.4. True 64 bit goodness. see http://www.sun.com/ for more.

Secondary system:
VaxStation 4000 VLC (er,6 VUP, translates to roughly 25 mhz...) 24mb, 1 gb, running OpenVMS 7.2 and Dec Windows/Motif. Sweet machine that does 24x7x365 effortlessly. This is my db and web server.

Soon to be resurected:
Hewlett Packard/Apollo 720 running HP/UX 10.20. An old PA-RISC box, this is more for the halibut than anything else.

No x86 or compatable allowed in this house except as emulator software or secondary processor cards. At this time, thankfully, neither exception is in force. Though I do miss an old game or two (say Zhodani Conspiracy or Quest for the Ancients) that I may break down soon and buy a card for the Sun workstation. Additional plus would be that I could use my copy of Wordstar 7.0d again (last of a great breed. x2 points to those who can remember the wordstar diamond...)

hmmmm...
GOG use burnt stick on cave wall...

GOG tie message to swollow (europen or african not matter)and send to 'net...

GOG also use hollow log to thump message for others...wait for log thump message back to GOG....

but mostly GOG use fire spirit....make pic/word on bark using burnt stick, toss bark in fire..fire spirit take message to tribe... GOG happy

OK, I'll bite:

I use a dual-Pentium 150 with 128MB RAM, a 10GB HD running NT4.

Looks like I am closer to GOG than anyone else. :)

GOG HAPPY....GOG not alone anymore.

seriously, pII 350, 128meg, 10 gigHD running win98se...With a 3dfx 16meg, 56k...and ummm,a cupholder?...no, thats a cdrom tray....

yuppers..a WINTEL box

Computers okay (average)...but my net connection, at start-up, always says:

"Contacting GOG."
"Fire Spirit connecting"
"GOG run DOS now"

Is this GOG my primary server? (What does GOG stand for, anyway? Probably 'Gazillions of Gigabytes'....)

Gats'

c:\dos
c:\dos\run
run\dos\run

..."GOG" is sound that comes from my inside when wintell log stop making thumping messages to tribe...evil demon blue and white script (blue-screen-o-death) haunt GOG sight...
...GOG not happy then...

P-III 450 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 9.1 GB hard drive (7200 RPM), CD-ROMx50, sucky Voodoo II 3D accelerator (the type that you need to install IN ADDITION to the basic graphics card), Creative Vibra 128 sound card (something between SB16 and SB-LIVE). Old 15 inch monitor. Win 98. 56K modem with a cursed tendancy to disconnect at random times (but not too often).

Most things run well on it. New graphics-heavy stuff won't.
