What happened?

Patience, Crimson Cat, we are all waiting.

Look at the last time Marc/Avery posted anything. He obviously has hands full with something else, after all Traveller isn't his "day job" anymore.

The reprints require enormous technical effort getting the colour, binding and everything right. Clearly things go wrong, and as much as we would like him to skip over the production schedule there would be complications for that even in marketing them to stores who don't know anything about Traveller. Would you buy something called FFE 6 and then to be promised FFE 4 will be due is four months?

In the meantime, countdown for T20, this is coming sooner. Plus, Timmon/Cargonaught Press has all sorts of goodies on ebay which are well worth the journey. If you need your CT fix.

What happened to FFE #5 games? Everytime I asked about it I hear it will be out soon but still have not seen it.

I see the PTBs are ignoring this question at the moment. This is either a good sign (it's almost ready so they'll make an anouncement soon.) or a very bad sign.

Cross your fingers, knock on wood, etc.

------------------
I am increasingly of the opinion that RPGs are by the nature of their creation subjective phenomenon. due to the interaction between game designers, game masters, and game players all definitions, rules, settings, and adventures are mutable in acordance with the uncertainty principle as expounded by Heisenburg. This is of course merely my point of view.

Last I spoke with Marc, he is waiting on them to get back from the printer. Apparently their binding machine went south and they had to get it fixed before they could proceed.

Trust me, no one is more anxious for FFE005 to be released than Marc himself. As soon as it gets back to him, we'll get an announcement posted.
