What is the adverage time from placing an order for T20 players book untill it actually ships. Been almost 3 weeks and nothing, not even a reply to my email?
Unfortunately Hunter (the owner of this site and QLI) has been more or less MIA for some time due to family difficulties. I'm not sure if anyone else has had any experience with dead tee orders, although I believe the PDF system is still working.
I'm not really too sure about the situation, I hope an admin (The Laughing Policeman?) might have more information.
You can try snagging a copy on Ebay or maybe an Amazon.com ZShop. I've gotten Traveller T20 books from both places, and usually at a hefty discount. Either way, get your money back from PayPal or your credit card company as soon as possible. Many people over the last year or so have apparently had the same problem, including myself. I ordered from QLI and never received anything, and I'm waiting for PayPal to process my claim against QLI.
Personally, I feel its deceitful for QLI not to stop selling books it cannot deliver, or to at least clearly explain the problem on their home page. All they're doing is hurting the Traveller game (d20 version specifically) by treating their customers this way. Good luck, in any case.
GURPS is more complicated than T20, creating a GURPS character takes longer than to generate a T20 character. With GURPS you buy everything with points, you basically design your character as you would a spaceship except with character points instead of credits.
