"Do you know what is the hardest part of being a vegan?"

My smart-ass response was:

"You miss the pretty moons around Vega 7."

If you have played a Vegan character, what was the hardest part about it?

I know a thing or two about being a Vegan, and the obvious hardest part is when you have to be outside from May to September. Of course no real Vegan goes outside then except for commuting to your shift change at the hotel / casino.

No, what is normally viewed as the Vega S trip actually goes through the adjacent Paradise and Winchester zones. Neither are fully incorporated into the Vega system.

Vega N is the location of a COACC base and an electronic music festival site (where they also race ground cars). [Both links to wikipedia]

Leaking valve stem seals leading to excessive oil consumption? Engine overheating allowing antifreeze to seep past the head gasket, causing damage to the cylinder walls? Rear axle separation? It’s hard to pick just one.

Having to move the engine forward off its mounts to access the rear-most spark plugs? (Using a keyhole saw to cut access holes in the fender wells was the work-around.)

I was thinking we could call it Vega5 with no space between the name and number so the number looks like an 'S'.

On reflection, I realized that Vega S is surrounded by several Stations, including the one where Your Humble Correspondent and Mrs. Moped were wed about a dozen years ago. It's gone now, but @Timerover51 would have appreciated it: Texas Station. (among Station Casinos LLC's many properties.)

(Chosen for convenient location and reasonable site rental fees. Was an ok locals-oriented mid-sized casino from what I could tell as a non-gambler.)

I have heard those systems are plagued with marauding Corvairs though.

The hardest part about being a Vegan is be taunted by both Vilani and Solomani that they are a minor race, and cannot survive well on a reasonable planet like Earth.

Now, if you vegan as in diet, remember that diet is "Die with a T". Besides, then you cannot enjoy bacon or prime rib or veal parmesan, or for me, I could not enjoy haggis or steak and kidney pie and good Italian sausage, or Johnson Brats.
