I live in the far northern suburbs of Chicago, near the Wisconsin border, where we're currently in a deep freeze. But I'm dreaming of moving somewhere tropical, at the moment.

GM Joe, send me a PM about where you are. I am just outside of Zion, 3 minutes from the Wisconsin border. It has been colder, but this is hanging on for a while.

Erie, Pennsylvania has had 6 feet of lake effect snow this week. Mostly all still there. Weather channel and Weather Nation have been convering it.

I just realised that the original survey put Australia in Europe, which isn't quite what I learned at school.

It's still comforting that we haven't lost a continent, given I saw some Flat Earther material which claimed that Australia didn't exist and was a fabrication by all the other governments of the world, that anyone who claimed to come from there was an actor from another part of the Anglosphere, but I couldn't see what they said about anyone who'd travelled there and returned.

Thank goodness that big open land is safe and sound in Europe. EU ascension must be pending...

Kind of lonely here in the South, north shore of Lake Pontchartrain

I'm in NOLA, near the CBD. Well, I'll be back next week anyway. There's a small contingent of gamers here but a regular f-t-f RPG has been tough to nail down. Lots of epic board games though (Firefly, SW Assault, Twilight Imperium, etc).

Currently in southern Maryland (near NAS Pax River), originally from western Massachusetts (near Springfield), by way of central Vermont (Norwich University), southwest Ohio (Wright-Patt AFB), northwest Florida (Eglin AFB), eastern Nebraska (Offutt AFB), southwest Ohio (WPAFB again) and northern Illinois (Rockford area).

Small world :)

A buddy of mine spent a chunk of his formative years in Chatham. His father was a minister.

Chatham is small enough that my wife probably knows your buddy (or at least someone in his family).

My inlaws are visiting this week. If my wife doesn't know the name, I'm sure they do. I won't ask you for his name, but won't balk at asking them if you want to PM me.

Cheers,

Baron Ovka
