Which CT Combat System to Use?

Phoenix Command is WAY too tight. Fate is too loose. But there is a huge range between them.

Fate is too loose.

On the plus side, large combats can be run rather quickly with Fate. I was testing it out for Traveller. I ran The Great Wine Heist using Fate and Diaspora, as a solo game, and it didn't take long at all.

While I enjoyed it, it didn't quite capture the flavor that I was looking for.
