Why isn't TA9 available on the Travellers Aid Subscription?

I have paid for this years ago, as have any others who subscribed for 12 issues of Traveller's Aids.
Why is it only available to me if I pay for it again at dtrpg/rpgnow?

Not happy.

Since the only Power That Be that can definitively answer that didn't do it that way or even post a notice here that he had put it up on DTRPG I won't guess. Well, more correctly I won't share my guess, certainly I have guessed.

There's some mention on the Mongoose boards about Marc Miller 'pulling' the license from QLI.

I suspect it's just groundless rumours from grumbling doomsayers. Until Marc or Hunter say it (and I believe it's actually them saying it and not some third hand account or reading between the lines of an unrelated topic) it's best to treat it the way all gossip should be treated imo.

Actually it came from Matt Sprange of Mongoose (if anybody he should know) and has been mentioned by him on the Mongoose boards, he seems to have a quite direct link to Marc and IMHO is somehow more believable as the current license holder and certainly seems to be more informed than the mods here, sorry, but if Hunter does not keep you informed, why defend him?

Wasn't defending him, and I don't go to the Mongoose boards (bad experiences there a while back). Appreciate the link for verification though.

As for being informed on the inner workings, it's not part of the package as a mod. Hunter is as much an unknown to us as anyone and we're not privy to the whole QLI and personal side of the issue. We just keep the spammers under control and try to put out the flame wars.

I note Matt clearly wasn't certain. And given the predictable blood in the water responses I think it was a little irresponsible of him to say it without checking first, even with the caveat. Even more so if he does have good communication with Marc.

Wasn't defending him,

You are right Dan, you were not, apologies for inferring that you were.
Just getting frustrated, the normal mod feedback does seem to be "be patient it will all be OK, Hunter will eventually sort it out" (see Andrew's comment for an example).

Thing is, he doesn't.

Thanks Dave, I was tired and wound up too so it irritated me more than it should have or was intended too. I'm sorry for snapping at you (even a little), it really didn't help.

Just getting frustrated...

Understandably, and most times I'd have factored that. I sympathize, I'm sure everyone does, but that doesn't get you what you need.

Still not there, come on Hunter, this is really starting to piss me off.
Oh come on, it has only been just over 3 WEEKS since it went up on DTRPG/RPGNOW. After all he has to get permission from the store owner, pass through rigorous QA procedures, get added to the data base, made available as part of the E-Library, to subscribers, etc. It isn't like this is his store or website. Oh wait it is his store and his website.

It has been so long, I guess he forgot how.

Just an update,

The TA9 problem was something that Ive taken to Marc to discuss, as Marc's away for a few days an answer will take a while to receive.

Just to let you all know that its being discussed, and I hope for a solution soon.

Rog.

OK, regardless of any "Personal" problems, or problems with the store code, one would think that a month would be enough time to straighten it out.

Roger's post is one month since Colin posted it was available on DTRPG.com. (For those at home keeping score.
