Why isn't TA9 available on the Travellers Aid Subscription?

Even if Hunter is 5 to 9 ing QLI while holding down a proper job, he should still have been able to sort this out by now.

Come on Hunter. Step up mate.

There was another thread that raised the issue that the TA9 is not available on the TA subscription.
That thread has now been locked by the mods 'pending Hunter's feedback regarding the situation'.

As this is something that we are highly unlikely to get based on his performance of the last few years, so please keep this thread open so that the problem is not swept under the carpet as if it was an embarrassment to have it talked about out in the open.

This and all similar order problems need to be actioned now and people that have been wronged by QLI should be allowed to voice their concerns and frustration until this happens.

I think, beech, that the thread was locked as much because of it turning into a personal grudge fest as anything. Its fun to vent, but in situations with substantive problems such as money, it has the potential to get ugly quite quickly -and such ugliness seldom helps the problem -but does leave new and lasting problems. Plus, it does seem that there are some elements more dedicated to stirring the pot than solving the problem. Note that I do not name names or identify sides. There's been adequate thoughtless commentary on both sides.

As long as it doesn't get too vitriolic, or merely a bash-fest, I agree.

Keep comments and questions to the point.

And for the record, while I don't condone the way this situation has been handled, I have a great deal of sympathy for Hunter. His situation doesn't excuse the problems QLI has had, but it does, to an extent, explain them.

I played a part in why the thread was locked and should have been more diplomatic in my appraoach, to this I apologize and also I wasnt intending to bash either Aramis or Andrew and so again apologize to you both.
The situation is very emotive and can (as we have seen) get out of hand quickly, the mods are doing the best they can in a bad situation and its (as I well know) a thankless job.
Hopefully Hunter will return and address all of the outstanding issues soon, so until that time we just continue as before.

I completely understand why people are frustrated and angry, and why they want to vent at us. I wish there was something we could do, but there isn't. The only person who can is Hunter, but he's been out of town dealing with family illness. Marc has been talking to him, but now *he's* away. Hopefully there will be news next week.

Well said Roger -you may want to mention this at SFRPG as it seems to be being seen as stonewalling. From here, and from your post, it seems that we agree that it was more like preventive firewalling.
 
Ive done just that.

Actually if I could only get in contact with Hunter I would offer a very simple solution to the TA9 issue.
I would buy a copy and with his permission send by email a copy to each of the subscribers, that would at least fix that issue until Hunter could fix the problem of it not being available.

As to the second, i was just thinking the same thing - plus, I've already bought a copy (no subscription) so I'd be happy to send it over -with permission, naturlich.

Let me know. It would save you some $$ in addition to your time you've put into this.
 
I considered that ages ago, but I don't have access to the subs db, and if Hunter had time to run off a list he'd have time to upload TA9...

Addressing things? Almost 2 months later Hunter hasn't been able to find the, at most, 30 minutes to put TA 9 on his own website?

I know there are other issues, but this one should have been, "OK Marc, TA 9 is done, what is next on the list?"

for it, and now it is Hunter's turn to demonstrate that he got and understood
