Your Challenge - Adventure on this Starship

Jacqual

SOC-12
Ok so I did up a Luxury liner using HGS and Stuff from LBB 2 expanded by Omer Golen. Using the ship as a very basic guideline make an adventure where the players are crew members specifically Not Bridge crew players are like the Gunner, Stewards, maybe even the Medical Officer or even the Chef or Spa attendants. That way they dont have the chance of making the ship go where they want and they are stuck following orders. Then something hits the fans, whether this is pirates a miss-jump engineering failure what have you. They have to save the day and get the passengers home safely.

here is the ship for your enjoyment. Please check the USP as I changed a little on the fly.

COMMENTS: Designed as a Leader in Luxury Travel, The Rising Sun is in a class all of its own. While Other Liners do exist none of them match the touches that this ship class provides. From the Spa to the Casino the Rising Sun pampers its quests in a style not seen in Star Travel. From having the highest rated Chefs and the best Stewards. Travelling via The Rising Sun will make all of the passengers feel like Nobility. Every aspect of the ship declares luxury without being arrogant, personnel safety is considered key as well as all crew members onboard the Rising Sun are combat trained and expertly screened to protect the passengers in any and every way possible. Make your Journey onboard the best travel by the Rising Sun and see the stars from their perspective.

Okay, these are old attempts by me:

At dinner, a stranger wanders by the captain's table a few times. He bumps into a few and begs their pardon like a normal civilized person. Later on he visits these people, mentioning that he saw them at the Captain's table (he either was on the other end, or seated nearby) and one of the other guests (consult passenger list) thought it might be a good idea for him to visit them. He sells gems and jewels, but offers discounts to liner guests. He can be a Stainless-Steel Rat type of NPC or a salesman, plying his trade.

Your ship doesn't have a small craft deck ? Too bad...During a cruise, the players notice that extra security has been brought aboard in the form of a squad of outsiders. Anyone moving to the boat deck (small craft) via the elevators are stopped and turned away, unless they've been cleared (like crew). A jump capable shuttled is also parked on the deck and seems to have special attention of the newcomers. Of course nobody tells the lowly players anything. One of the guests, who produces news/press credentials is doing a special assignment, and wants to know if the players will assist him/her in either getting down to the boat deck, finding out any thing they can or taking a hand-Densitometer s/he's got and scanning the jump-shuttle. For a fee naturally...
