The same ship as before. It took awhile to find my Easter Island monoliths. They were on an old drive from nine years ago. I used 3D-Coat to give them a new paint job.

It's hard to tell, but the planet in the background is my Earth model. So this must be the Moon here.

I've got Hexagon 2.5.1.79, and it's kinda cursed to work with. It crashes A LOT. :(
I can't use version 2.x because of its constant crashing. I only use version 1.21. It never crashes on me. I told the guys at Eovia that their best modeler on the market was turning to suck. But they're gone now. And DAZ3D is cursed with it now.

Chris Foss' artwork used in T4 was a nice idea, although I like Peter Elson's spacecraft and -suit and clothing designs more (http://www.peterelson.co.uk/).
I liked Peter's artwork much better, too. I've got a few of those TTA books.

Really nice work mate, they take me back to Stewart Cowley's Spacecraft 200-2100AD and Great Space Battles

Around that time (maybe before that time) I was buying OMNI magazine, which featured the best sci-fi artwork of that era.
Issue #1 kind of set the standard for what future issues would include.
