A traveller comic?

I can't draw worth a damn, so I never saw myself as doing a comic.

Then I saw "order of the stick" and realized it didn't take a lot of drawing talent to do something like that.

So I was thinking of doing a stick figure traveller comic.

I'm trying to come up with 6 traveller archetype or stereotype characters.

So far I have an asteroid miner, a merc, a vargr corsair and a trader.

I was thinking of an assassin maybe, and/or a thief.

Any suggestions? How about a solomani bigot?

You could have an engineer or scientist, and a stick figure hiver.

I think the key would be make it comedy.

With archetypes, you'd get a nuts and bolts, Mary Worth type comic strip.

Make it outlandish.

A barbarian, with hunting, maybe a blade. He's the contrast guy, like Joe Blow, stuck in the year 4000. Doesn't understand any of the tech, but has a simple honesty and trustworthiness.

A noble with soc 15, and no other skills, except steward, or something. Haughty, probably a woman, who says things like "I'm a senator, and you better watch it, buster."

A marine guy with one term, wounded, mustered out at 20 with a cutlass, and Rifle-1. Despite this, he's just gung ho and hard core, and takes no crap.

A scout, who was in the service some 24 years, retired, scarred to hell, never had any rank, but owns a ship, and people think he's still some kind of gov't spy CIA/Scout/Agent on detached duty, with secret codes and crap.

A guy who you ask what did you do in your life prior to meeting us?
Ah. "Other."
No, really, were you in the military?
No, Other.
Well, Oh, I see, you don't want to talk about it.
Turns out, except for the scout, he's the most effective PC in the group, skill wise.

Something like that is how I'd do it.
