Alright, people, here it is, the first issue of the first traveller stickfigure webcomic.

I'd appreciate feedback, constructive criticism, suggestions, etc. it took me quite a while to get this done, so don't expect #2 very soon.

Right now I'm having lots of problems with my software, Inkscape, and am still fairly new to this. You'd croak if I told you how long this took me to be.

If I get any positive feedback, I may do ish 2 which will begin introducing characters asides from the ship. Right now I have a problem: The images save out to several time what they should in terms of file size, I need to get some tech help on exporting images in .gif format.

Pleasing enough to the eye but I'd like to know the direction this is going. It seems very serious at the moment, are we going to see an OOTS type humour storyline or is this going to be a quite heavy epic adventure?

A good opening page, but no "hook" yet to keep interest. As BR said, I'd like to know where this is going.

IMHO, this kind of first page should be released to the general public at the same time or as part of a second page that supplies the hook.

Well for wackyness have the sunburst icon a series of Trampolines inside "jumpspace" and bordered on either side by an entry/exit doors. The beowulf bounces from trampoline to trampoline, hence the name "tramp freighter" o:

Others might be just the sunburst, pulls back, pulls back, pulls back, until it forms the eyeball in a droyne/yaskodray, etc.

I'm sure there's more, but somehow I don't think that's what you wanted

About as close as I can come to it, yes.

I'm already on issue 2, which should set the minds of those concerned the strip is looking "too serious" at rest...
