I've got the Hero class as well. I've been chasing down the Aslan Merc Cruiser plans for a while myself. I have heard that the plans are quite decent... but I'll wait until I see them first hand though.

eh. Decent is about all I'd rate them, actually, at least compared to the later DGP attempt. The problem comes from the rounded architecture, which is hard to do right unless the entire ship is designed all at once.
