Aslan Preview

I wonder whether these "antlers" are a parasitic life form that can attach
itself to any kind of intelligent species, probably to control it.
On their home world the shape of "antlers" perhaps was a perfect camoufla-
ge, as no one would expect a stag of being particularly intelligent, and the
poor hunters who killed the stags and took the antlers home as trophies soon
came under the control of the "antlers" - of course actually wearing them on-
ly at night and usually out of sight of others.
Remember all the fairy tales and legends of "antlered" humans ?

Heh, better suited to a Beyond The Supernatural or somethink like that system. Has legs though as a concept, might swipe it, YOINK, swiped.

I hate to post this, but I'm going to anyway.

I have just read AM1 from cover to cover and can find no mention of Aslan psionics at all.

Am I being a bit dense here, or am I just imagining I read something about it years ago?

Ah, Aslan, good ol' Alien Module 1. I've held a long lasting love/hate relationship with the Kzinti...uhh, Aslan, but I have to say I'm a sucker for aesthetics. I love the art in the Aslan preview, and may end up getting it just for that alone. Probably the best treatment I've seen of the Aslan for some time, with two caveats;
One; it never seemed like the original material established weather the race was digitigrade or not, and leaning toward NO, but presented in this publication, they definitely are. Inconsistency? Does anyone care?
Two; Okay, they're 'kinda' share feline characteristics, hence their name, BUT in this work, they REALLY, really look like, ummm - Lions. I can't complain that the end effect doesn't look good, but speaks little for creativity.
