ATV in action

I saw the Landmaster many years ago (early 90s?) in southern California. It was parked in a scrap yard/car lot alongside one of the freeways.

Given all the other famous vehicles which regularly tour on the car show circuit, I'm surprised no one has bought and restored it.

ObTrav: Across 11,000 worlds there's got to be scads of 57th Century versions of the Bovington Tank Museum, Commemorative Air Force, Old Rhinbeck Aerodrome, HMS Rose, and others.

Edit: D'oh! Should have followed that Wiki link before posting!

[ . . .]
There are actually a few fan pages for it if you do a web search. I remember reading one that said it had been owned by some sort of scrap dealer or something similar for a long time, although now somebody has bought it and restored it.

I saw it in 1984 sitting in the lot of the builders business sitting next to the car from the Logan's Run TV series.

The one I regret not buying was the Blade Runner blimp. It hung over a bar in Dallas.

That and Kirk's chair.

I don't suppose you saw the episode of The Big Bang Theory where they bought the time machine from the H G Wells movie...? Or maybe the one with the psychopathic doctor and his collection in the basement... :D
