I'm having flashbacks. Saw a documentary once about a guy who gave his little dog a revolver, holster the works and it ran around carrying this gun ...oh so funny...until it jumped up or something and the gun went off and shot the owner. Bloody idiot.

Revolver...maybe OK, a replica or de-mil would really be the thing.
Live rounds? Fricken' shtoopid.

Maybe he thought having the dog use open-carry was an end-run around the law. Or maybe he just thought it was cute. Either way, at least it was the fool paying for his own stupidity. Often someone else pays the price, not the idiot.
