Celestia tool

Cool  I played with it a bit and looks like a god send
I was using a text file I standardize with everything in it and C'n'Ped, very tedious

Thanks

One thing I did notice is the radius translation from miles to km is to double the miles. This is just to be simple right?

I shall investigate further and report back soon.

Now I can map the whole Imperium

Not sure what you mean. SSC files use radius in km, SSCeditor displays diameter in km (which is double, obveously). If you enter "S=n" (where n is a digit) it will convert this:

int(n x 1000 x 1.609)

Can you clarify so I can fix any bugs.

Someone's already made a stars file for the Spinward Marches. You just need to create the SSCs.

Someone who thought to use Celestia for traveller games _and_ who actually got off his ass and did it.

Man, my hat is off you you! You rock!

Thanks, but Jonathon Barton should get the credit for starting off the Celestia/Traveller thing (he may not be the first or only one, but he introduced me to the idea), I just wrote this little tool.

Okay, v1.1 of the SSC editor has been posted. It uses an alternative file processing technology that hopefully is more robust (but makes the distribution file much bigger), it will remember the last file location used, and for asteroids/comets/spacecraft you can enter a non-integer size. More improvements as and when.
