Corebook starships: Group Pic.

Well I think I have all the core book vessels complete now. What do you think :D

They aren't all to scale I need to tweak the sizes. Due to a quirk of Blender pulling a model from one file to another can play havoc with the scales. but you can get a pretty good view of the ships. next step set up some scenes and do some 3-views.

It has come to my attention I missed one or two ships...I'll rectify that horrible oversight.

Okay I think it should work now

a great stable. now all they need is setting and interior views.

and individually the color schemes are striking, but together they all look like christmas candy ....

Thanks.

I am working on creating interiors but they are a bit complex so it's taking a while to get that down.

and yeah, they look a bit odd when all together. the side effect of simple patterns and primary colors. I' getting the hang of adding graphics and nose art but they are still pretty rough.

this is an escape pod I was using for practice. the interior is pretty basic.

Pic linky no work.

That's two browser-based failures you've had in an afternoon... it pops up in a new tab for me just fine.
(the other on downloading the .bas test) Might want to check your browser's configuration.

Not sure what happened I just went back and pasted the same link into the brackets and presto it worked.

I like them, both the starships and small craft.

Though I'd posit that the starships might not all be the same scale (the sub liner seems a bit small compared to the others).

they aren't quite to scale I drew them up to the deck plan measurements but importing the models into a single file to do the render caused the scales to get skewed.

I am working on several ships to add to the pic so I will adjust the scales in the final pic

looks great so far. maybe a seat and controls ... I like the "through-the-glass" aspect of the view, gives the viewer a hard indication of what it is yet leaves a little bit to the viewer's imagination too.

What I meant is why aren't they laid out with the rest of the ships? Dividing between jump capable and non jump capable?

I had to cut back a little. with all the small craft in the pic I had to zoom out untile there wasn't a lot of detail showing.

Ill do a full group pic once I can tweak scales, and add the final few ships to the pic

I acknowledge that your explaining is an explanation.

AKA, I understand.
