Well my Holiday series finished up about a month ago and my Solo Game and some one-shots have proved successful, so we are putting on hold other games and I've bean asked to throw together a Trav game, so far I've got three characters and given how they have turned out I'm going to run a TTA game, the characters are
(Cpt.) Donovan Rakes, a 3 term Merchant, originally he tried to enlist in the Navy but failed his enlistment roll and got drafted in to the Merchents, starting on Free Traders he was quickly bumped up to a Fledgling line and after a Non Commissioned School assignment found himself in the Deck Department for the rest of his Career where he worked his way up to Capitan, till he failed his re-enlistment at the end of term 3, he spent all his Mustering out Benefits on the Non-Cash table ending up with a full title on a Type R-2, he spent his Bonus money on gear and apart from some pocket change is Broke.
Page Jarvis , 3 term Merchant Chief Purser, after failing to enrolee in the Merchant Academy she was excepted in to a Sector Wide line, over the next 12 years she would work he way up to the top of the Pursers department, a highly skilled Seward and Purser (with a bit of Broker and Trader on the side) she blitzed Security school early in her career and has ended up a bit of a Martial Arts and Gun nut (0-g Weapons, Melee Combat -2 & Small Blades -1).
those are the characters that are locked in, the other two players have five possible characters between them, one is a 4.75 term Army private who learnt nothing after AIT and never got a promotion, so he has Combat Rifleman -1 Recon -1 an Assault Rifle 2000cr and a couple of low passages. an other is a Soc 12 person that failed to enlist in to "Others" and got drafted in to the Merchants, after a few years smuggling on a free trader they upgraded to a fledgling line for their last year before failing to re-enlist. a three term Darrian Academic (with a Uni pre-enlistment option), a Barbarian and a Varg Raider/Loner who has tanked his Cha stat.
