It is awesome and well worth the $35.00!!! My god there is so much information and for the creative in me the pdf format allows me to cut past and manipulate for my own fandriven webzines andor publictions. My next purchase is the JTAS CD can't wait.

I seem to recall that someone said that not all of the PDFs were of good quality, or that some had pages upside-down.

Have you encounterd this problem?

Yeah, I recently did a search via Windows explorer for some string and came back with a few hits, and when I went to look at the details, the word wasn't on the page, but the "text behind the scenes" thought it was.

A good example is search for Excalibur in CT S03 Supplement 03 The Spinward Marches.pdf and it'll find it in the long list of worlds, but will skip right past it on the subsector detail for the Swords, because the text behind the scenes thinks it's: Excali bur; (with the space inside it).

They're still worth having, but just take things with a grain of salt.

To a US location, shipping was on the order of a few days.

I recently found out that the more recent run of CT CD-ROMs have fixed some of the problems I've seen on mine: for instance, my copy of Shadows had a page from a different adventure. The 2nd edition of the CD-ROM corrected this.

I suggested to Marc that he fix what few errors there are in The Traveller Book. I didn't expect that to happen, but it was worth asking.

Cool! Thanks! I'll be ordering it this week, then. And the MegaTraveller and FASA/Gamelords discs soon.

This will make it sooo much easier to make Library Data handouts and campaign notes.

Mine should have arrived while I was out of town. I'll finally get to read High Guard! Woo-hoo!

I will dog you all in TCS! BAW-HA-HA! ;)

How is your Safari Ship pdf ? Mine's pretty blurry and the text comes out mostly as gibberish.

Oh man....

High Guard, Mercenary, 76 Patrons, COTI...

It's all mine! This is awesome.

(Searchable... and no stacks of annoying BFB's to enrage the wife!)

See one of my goals would be to buy the CD so that I can just keep my books stored away untouched, but if entire ones on the CD are unreadable, that cuts down on my desire to buy it. That and the fact that I wouldn't buy a poorly printed book from a book or game store either.

The Imperium stuff appears to be top notch.

While the scan of the original map is practically unreadable, there is a PDF of an expanded map in pdf format. Not only do you get something that looks useable with a standard laser printer, but there is also a map of the extended (and unpublished) Twilight map regions.

The rules pdfs look to be from a later edition than the BFB version-- with extra Traveller oriented fluff text. The counter scans look *very* good. This is what I've been waiting for. There should be enough here to (finally) actually play Imperium.

And Fifth Frontier War. And Azhanti High Lightning. And Mayday.

But you're talking about a couple of hundred dollars worth of books on one CD for only $35. Even if a couple are blurry or unusable - it's well worth it. Maybe we can set up something with Marc so we can get updates/errata if they come out.

I ordered mine today!

I still think it's worth it, primarily because I can take my laptop someplace and have many megs of useful Traveller stuff.

One of the pages in the Exotic Atmospheres book is missing; but someone on this board sent me the missing page. There might be freeware out there that'll let you re-insert it.

I just might buy an OEM version of Adobe Acrobat (full package). That'll let me make PDFs and edit them.
