Deep Diving.

Yes, and it's one of the reasons I want to be able to edit old posts - deleting double posts, correcting typos, correcting grammatical errors. I have found some real howlers in my older posts in the past. Note i would never alter the content of the post - just correct the stuff mentioned.

Kind of makes me wonder if the smart play in this case would be to make editing of posts beyond the "open window time frame" something that is subject to moderator approval (which yes, would be extra workload for the moderators).

Basically if you want to edit a post after the "open edit window" has closed, when you finalize the edit it remains pending for moderator approval.

Aside from the extra workload for moderators, such a scheme would appear to enable the kind of options a lot of people wanting to clean up old posts are looking for.

With the new shiny layout I find myself diving into ancient topics Frequently.

Any one else find doing the same?
For some reason this font and layout is easier on the eyes. So I've done some dumpster diving, but not much.

A fresh coat of paint inspired me to do some cleaning and try to fix the facilities once more.
