DGP's Policy on using their material for canon TRAVELLER

In a nutshell, Roger Sanger, current owner of DGP, says...

"MARC MILLER HAS DGP'S PERMISSION to use background data (UWP lists, planet names, sector maps, etc.) from DGP's Traveller works in any way that he sees fit in printed Traveller 4 publications!"


That quote is from way back in 1996. I'm assuming its still good.

I've got such for my timeline (and a couple of other things I never got around to doing because I have a job, family, and real life).

Yes, that quote is still valid. However, there's some question as to if it applies to other projects, which is why GURPS Traveller doesn't, and why QLI and Avenger step around it carefully.
