Firearm Damage

Could someone post the LBB 1, first edition damage values for firearms and bow weapons. I want to compare the original "3D6-8, etc." with some of the new "xD6+n" values floating around.

This should clearly be less than a page and allowed under the old FFE 'Fair Use Policy.'
Thanks.

No bows in LBB1.

Body Pistol 3D-8
Automatic Pistol 3D-3
Revolver 3D-3
Carbine 4D-8
Rifle 3D
Automatic Rifle 3D
Shotgun 4D
Submachinegun 3D-3
Laser Carbine 4D
Laser Rifle 5D

Hands 1D
Claws 1D+3
Teeth 2D-3
Horns 2D-5
Hooves 2D-6
Stinger 3D-6
Thrasher 2D+2
Club 2D-3
Dagger 2D-3
Blade 2D
Foil 1D+4
Cutlass 2D+4
Sword 2D+1
Broadsword 4D
Bayonet 3D
Spear 2D+2
Halberd 3D
Pike 3D
Cudgel 2D

Note that damage modifiers are applied to individual damage dice as the player sees fit. So a player hit by a carbine distributes each of the 4 dice, then applies a net modifer of -8 among those 4 dice as he sees fit. This became unnecessary once damage was changed into X dice with no modifiers. Note that many first edition LBB1 weapons are significantly less lethal than their 2nd edition counterparts.

Bows etc are found in CT Supp 4 Citizens of the Imperium (although I don't have access to either deadtree or pdf copies at the moment).

Bows etc are found in CT Supp 4 Citizens of the Imperium (although I don't have access to either deadtree or pdf copies at the moment).

They appeared in Snapshot and Citizens of the Imperium in 1979. In both products, here are the damage ratings:

Sling 2D
Short Bow 1D
Long Bow 2D
Sporting Cross 2D
Military Cross 3D
Repeating Crossbow 2D

Snapshot also changed LBB1 weapon damages to X dice with no modifiers. This didn't become "official" until the second edition of LBB1 released in 1981.

And as an aside, anyone who plays CT with the CT combat system should obtain a copy of the Snapshot to hit chart. My own streamlined version of this chart is posted at http://www.travellerrpg.com/CotI/Discuss/showthread.php?p=279453#post279453 .
