Is anyone prepared to review Grand Fleet based on a thorough examination of the supplement? Is anything new added? Many of the "big questions" mentioned in the sales pitch are answered in other products already, such as Imperial Squadrons.
I found enough new material to make the pdf well worth the price. I've got three players in my T20 game with ex-navy players who really need a resource like this. Kudos to Mr. Dougherty and Frier!
It looks like Grand Fleet ($8.50) covers much of the same ground as TA-7 Fighting Ships ($4.00 w/subscription) with only 11 more pages but twice the price. If you have TA-7, is Grand Fleet worth it?

The editing and organization of this product is good. I must say, however, the first read left me feeling a bit flat. I kept getting the sense that I was reading a detailed outline or extended glossary of terms - encyclopedia entries maybe? It lacked a depth of personality (story) I have come to expect in Traveller products. The ending was as abrupt as Halo2.
I think that someone who owns Imperial Squadrons and reads these forums will not find a great deal of new content.
