I was just messing around with an art generator at Night Cafe. Seems pretty simple.

While not perfect, I've found Mage.Space to be really good for doing RPG inspired art. (I particularly like doing characters in b/w line art that looks like it came right out of a rule/sourcebook).

I tied to duplicate an image from R. E. Howard's Conan story, Beyond the Black River. The Saber Tooth came out quite a bit larger than desired. This is Night Cafe.

Haven't really tried any other generators other than Night Cafe.
It works for me as quick and dirty way to get images on the fly. I just collect the free daily credits, and bank them.

I like it. Are the vents that are on its hull part of its forward trim tank? It looks like there’s an enormous bubble of ginger ale just inside the viewport in the center of the picture.

I am not sure. It is just how the program generated it. I have not tweaked it at all.

I would like to warn everyone regarding something that happened to me on Night Care. An individual took one of my posted pieces, modified it a bit, and then proceeded to post it for sale as his own work. I gave him a warning and he did this a second time, whereupon I blocked him. Keep an eye out for anyone doing this with your images. The site evidently allows this.

The prompt was as follows.

A group of explorers in vacuum suits returning to their space ship on an airless, cratered moon. Stars in the sky.

The preset style was Cosmic.

That's a type of plagiarism. I'm not sure what government department would handle that tho.

not so sure: AI generated works cannot be copyrighted. the legal world never catches up with the technological world. and technically all AI generated art is plagiarizing artists as it is all based on existing works, often not attributed nor legally used. there is a lot of activity in the legal world trying to figure out what to do.
