How does recoil work in T20?

Elder

I guess the question got buried earlier, so I'll try again:
In T20, some firearms are listed as having recoil, while others are not. My question: Is there a recoil penalty applied to a single character firing multiple bursts/shots during the same combat round in normal gravity conditions, such as when a PC has multiple attacks due to level? Thanks.

I was wondering about the recoil issue myself.. All I have been able to find is in the bottom left hand corner of page 154 of the THB. It states that weapons with recoil impose a -2 mod when fired in Low Gravity or less.

I believe T20s attitude is recoil "penalties" are not severe enough to overcome the bonuses given for the autofire.

In my readings of various RL gun discussions, in the time for the D20 combat round you can assume the person firing is spending some time aiming the weapon they are using, which largely negates penalties for recoil.

If you want to duplicate the way most people think gun combat should be run, make all the characters only use the panic fire rules, where if they wish to fire fewer than 10 rounds per combat round, assess a -1 penalty.

From what I found, Weapons with recoil are penalized on low to zero gravity worlds (page 154, table in lower left). That's the only reference I was able to find.
