Hypercard software

Enoff

SOC-13
I lucked out and inherited an old imac from a relative. Still using OS9 and I have found some Traveller hypercard software but in particular I am looking for a hypercard file named MT_Craft.hqx?
Someone had a link to it in their software download section but link is dead. No author or email address was given.

And your luck continues
Face it Mac's rule ;) You'll have good fortune the rest of your days

Anyway, I know the author and am sure I have a copy of it kicking around here somewhere. The link was probably to his old and neglected site that has been long gone for ages, so any email addy would have been useless too. Let me dig it up and I can send it if you want to PM me an addy, it shouldn't be too big. It was really a first draft so it has a couple bugs and could have used a little more work, but still not a bad set of stacks.

Hmm, come to think I talked to either or both the author and Hunter about putting it up in the fLibrary a while back but I can't recall what decisions were made, if any

Ah Hypercard. Great 'lil program for its time.

Hmmm, looks like the broken link's at http://www.vrhome.com/traveller/software.htm . If you haven't already I'd try contacting the website owner and the email link listed for the program on the page. Perhaps the file's just been moved somewhere else or some dl limit from Geocities. [UPDATE]or maybe not, according to the above post[/UPDATE]

The only Hypercard Traveller makers I know of are Robert Prior and the BITS group. There used to be some on the ole' Cybergoth website. I think they had a ship program at one point.

[EDIT]Some changes for wording[/EDIT]

Ja Far-Trader & Casey Salute! I couldn't agree more. I actualy do own a full version of the last Hypercard program 2.4 with license, books and box.

Yes I was totally interesting in the description of the stack; "Includes modules for MegaTraveller character generation, an atlas of charted space, generating subsectors and worlds, and generating passengers and cargo. Add your own races, careers and skills! Import your own sectors!"

Thanks Far-Trader I would love to take a look at it!

Yes it does rule!

It still is the easiest piece of software to do data storage and manipulation. Besides I love working in the black & white environment, gives me a cool retro buzz ha ha [takes off his dark shades to reveal monocrome zeiss implants]
