(a tic more seriously) There might be a way to make it work if you do give them a TL edge in one area, as per later rules, such as maybe Black Globes by which to infiltrate past defences. Or maybe they have a secret Ancient factory deep in Vargr territory that keeps building compact Black Globes*. Just compact Black Globes*, nothing else. And they have an exceedingly stupid excess of compact Black Globes*. So much so that they put them in every ship, even fighters.

* Or maybe even White Globes...

...note, I did say only a tic more seriously. Such handwaves should not be required. The rules themselves are broken for TL disparity fights if the historical actions are to be credited as accurate.

You're right, i haven't factored it (I knew I was forgeting something)...

And, BTW, as you talk about cloacking and detecting, if we factor in it the sensors part, where again the computer modifier is reflexive, the advantage for Gemid's Navy would be greater. (EDIT: in this case, CT:HG would be unchanged, as sensors were not featured on it).
