Join us for the revised "The Imperium Strikes Back" Thursday, 04 June, 1:00 PM EDT

Following some "this is why you playtest!" games where the scenario just wasn't fun, we've rejiggered "The Imperium Strikes Back" and run one playtest. Much better!

Join in on the Virtual Map at Thursday, 04 June, 1:00 PM EDT, either to learn Squadron Strike: Traveller or as a playtester. We teach you to play and it's 100% free. (Keep an eye open for a second run on Sunday.)

In the Imperium Strikes back, a pair of Midu Agashaam destroyers attack a Solomani base orbiting an ice moon. A pair of Solomani Madrid-class CLs try to hold them off.

I have never heard of this game, but it sounds like fun. Do I need a set of rules from somewhere, or does your "teaching game" supply all the necessary? If the latter, I'd love to play, only possible issue being that wife and I are traveling tomorrow afternoon and I'm not sure what time we get into our hotel.

No purchase of any sort necessary. If you enjoy the game, we hope that you'll purchase the Squadron Strike: Traveller boxed set. Most folks end up wanting the rules to be able to read the whole thing and understand the nuances, the ship, the scenarios, the art, etc.
