As I have got the 5.10 books (mentioned above), a bunch of MgT2 books, the JTAS package from the kickstarter, and a bunch of CDs from FFE, I'm currently pitching Traveller to my players.
The plan is to either go with a slight mod on 3I; or a setting where there are a bunch of pocket empires (with computer tech pretty much as described in the original books) that got in contact with earth today, and it is 30 years into the future.
