[The Pakkrat]

This is Vargr design at TL-17 in the Milieu 1900 period when Charted Space became quieted and required Hop Drives. The vehicle may or may not feature Cym tech which would make it a self-aware starship. Minimal crew is six but is typically manned by seven. Double-occupancy can increase this number to fourteen. Eight passenger staterooms are for ferried vessels of 200dT or less in the Hangar an option for an in-system tow of a vessel up to 100dT. This class of starship makes earns its keep in its 10-parsec reach and the ability to ferry a smaller ship to remote worlds far away.

With a Collector Drive staggered with normal L-Hyd fuel, the Collecting Hopper can make two jumps within 1D hours of each other.

Many Vargr Captains in this peaceful era remove Weapons to increase available cargo space and add speculative trading to the mission of Tender-Carrier. This moves the Lapine-class into the private, Merchant sector of operations roles.
