Last Post - bye all

Today is my 39th birthday, to log in today and follow up on this thread is a great birthday present indeed.

We are all Travellers on this ship called Earth, I'm truly glad that crewmen Sabredog is still flying with us.

Hang in there, and I really hope this marks a turning point for you.

Fly safe.

OK...I'll be off of here so I can attend to business now for a while so I'll stop by once in a while to check in, but I'm going to have to devote a lot of an extra time to other things depending on how things go for the next 2-3 weeks or so. And as things pop up during the months of the whole process my attendance will probably be about like that.

But you all understand why - and I need to spend a little more time than I'm allowing for to just take care of myself so I can get the things done right that need doing and I haven't been doing that - just taking care of the girls.

But before I dropped off active parcipaction for a little bit and transition to just checking in every few days or so (you can always reach me via PM or my personal email of 58fencer@comcast.net) I wanted to show what I'm fighting for because they make me proud. These are my girls: (Christmas 2010 - from left to right: Brianna 15, Sarah 11 (who has her own Trav character of Scout Vicky and helped with an article in Freelance Traveller, and Caitlyn 17)

Great looking kids! Happy Fathers day everyone! I would post my kids pics but they are evil and the cameras always break...

The two on the ends are going to turn into lovely women in a fairly short while (Jame, 30, carefully saying no more). And I'm glad that your youngest is getting into Traveller, or at least has tried it!

Happy Father's Day to you, and to all the other fathers out here (not me - not a father).

Sabredog man, you brought me to tears (I thought I had forgotten how to cry years ago). YOU FIGHT, KILL, ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO DO, you hear me!

My 1st wife, three months after our divorce. picked up my 3 kids from school and then ran them into a bridge abutment at what the police report described as "a speed in excess of 100 MPH".

She killed herself, the kids, and meant to do it. She left 2 notes, one in the car and one at the house, so there is no question about it being an accident.

YOU DO ANYTHING THING IT TAKES MAN, YOU HEAR ME!

Good luck brother.

I don't know what to say after reading that post.

I'm really sorry, GL. The pain and grief must have been awful (and must still be).

::edit:: sorry still stunned by GL's post, but Sabredog, I hope you return soon and life gets better, your kids are gorgeous. (Father of a 3 yr old girl myself).

Those are your girls? Congratulations. I hope you have a shotgun handy when all the boys come.

Take care of your girls first and foremost. Don't worry about your status in your former work or what your wife thinks of you etc. Be the dad first everything else will come after. They seem to be nice well adjusted kids get their input too they might have some insight that would help you in your situation.
