Looking For Two Players...

I've got these new combat rules, and I want to give them a test run. I've never run an on-line game before, but I thought I'd GM a short adventure using elements from my own RL campaign.

So, I'm looking for two players.

I want to keep it short-n-easy. I'm going to fly by the seat of my pants as a GM and just follow the players.

I don't have a plot in mind. I'm just going to throw some adversity at a couple of players and see how they deal with it.

I'm into roleplaying, and I like some action in a game. So, you can expect both.

The initial situation will be pretty short. From what I've seen, it takes time to play a play-by-post game, so I'm not looking to do anything elaborate.

At least it will start out that way.

I'm thinking two players...just to keep it easy but still have some diversified thinking among the players. If I get responses from more than two people who are dying to play, I'll go with one or two more.

I want to keep the group small in order to speed up the slow aspect of on-line play.

I figure I'll roll all dice. It's just easier that way. I know there are some dice rollers out there where a player can e-mail me his roll. But, I don't want to get that complicated. I just want a couple of good players who have the time and interest to put some effort into a short play-by-post game.

My plan right now is to keep the game small, and to keep it short. Play it. Come to a close. And, that will be that.

But...who knows. If we're having a good time, and everybody's game (and RL doesn't interfere too much), maybe the game will grow into something bigger. That's not what I'm planning, but I won't 100% close the game either if all things are firing on all cylinders.

So, who's game? Who wants to play?

I can't tell you what the story or scenario will be because I haven't made it up yet. I'm going old school on this one.

Rules: Mostly Classic Traveller rules. I'll use the UGM at times, but I'll also use good ol' CT GM-created checks too. The combat system will be my new version of CT combat that you can view HERE.

We're going start by role-playing through character generation.

If you want to play, PM me. I'll take the first two players who fit the qualifications (willing to "keep up" and post often; use my house rules; think this is a "cool" idea.)
