Lost Travellers

This weekend while messing around on the internet, I decided to try and look up some old friends from high-school that I hadn't seen in decades, only to find that over the years two of them had passed away.

Jim was my best friend for years and was the guy that first introduced me to Traveller and Steve was one of the guys in the group that we played with. Overall I'm not really sure that we ever got very far in actually doing much adventuring but we had tons of fun rolling up characters and plotting and planning what we wanted to do in the game.

Eventhough I had lost touch with them over the years it still hits you kind of hard.

I wish them well.

Yup, I left someone in High School with the quote - as we going off to different colleges - "Make new friends but remember the old. One is silver, the other gold." Sadly, I never heard from her again.

The friends we make in games and in High School are to be treasured but then again. Each is a phase, and, we have to resigned to the fact that our games must continue, as must new friends grow and blossom. Hopefully, this community will help you bring some of those old memories back whilst your new adventures are shared here.
