Most unusual use for Medical equipment in Trav adventure

Okay, I threatened this one with my story of using ABC foam (Anti Bacterial Coagulant) to gum up the visors of some Vargr party crashers on my first Sulieman Scoutship in CT...SCT "Doc" O'Malley, before he could make time to reach his autoshotgun or the ship's gyro rkt Accelerator rifle.

So for this topic, whats the most unusual use you ever saw medkit equipment put to use in a Trav game session?

Time to share, belly up to the bar, gents, lady!

we also use to toss bad guys into the l-hyd tanks to keep them fresh (why waste a lowberth?) untill we could turn over the remains to authorities...this was in our bounty hunter/bring'em back dead (or alive?) days....

those ceiling mounted medbots that look like a swissarmy octopus?...one group reprogrammed one...got rid of the med skills, installed interrogation instead....turned out to be a VERY handy gadget

Converting the Medbot into High Tech automated Interrogation unit--
Our survey sez..........Yeppurs! Nasty bunch you ran with! ANy of em pull wings off flies btw?

Ewww.

Okay Nurd_Boy, the rest of you.. here's another example..from the CT dayz of my gaming life (player):

Seems Craig our GM had this new adventure booklet, Our ship ( a rather battered A2 Far trader, sound familiar) had a Jump drive part malfunction shortly after arriving in system in Aramis.
Cut to the chase..we didn't have the $$$ for the part (with me so far?), But we did have a job offer from a vilani "businessman" MR Khaashkinuun (or so he called himself).
In order to get what we wanted, he wanted us to participate in a scheme of his against a rival. (Industrial Blackmail/ corporate espionage). problem is, we didn't trust this guy...So Doc O'Malley, my Scout (with a Med+4) dropped off his little nano-body-bot in the guys' aquarium.
Now the bot was small enough like what we have nowadays to transmit back what it sees back to the physician/ surgeon watching his screen, as it travels into the body. The ear piece, I left in his potted plant near his perscomm by the desk(after dropping a pack of gum..bent down and planted it, straightened up with the gum).
what we "saw" and "heard" the next two days caused us to think he'd double cross us.
But thats another story how we "fixed him, got the cash, and got off ARAMIS.

oh, yes...forgot nano-tech, if the little buggers can fix it, they can disassemble too.

IMTU, med-nanos don't have a batteries...the space is used for medicines, suture materials, etc..instead, the bugs are power by a magnetic resonance built into the medical berth, leave the bed, they shutdown and the body filters and passes them as any other waste material...this way the doc monitors the healing progess, the patient stays put (if he wants to heal)...and all in happy in the universe !

Good example, Nurd_boy, but maybe you might want to post this on SHip's Locker: Robots! Spiff's been hunting good ideas up on bots. ;)

With all these new RACES being intreduced to TRAVELLER, in all its varied forms......we need some new OB-GYN delivery Medical Equipment....question just how many Races are there now???

Yeah! Do you know how many IMOS researchers are working overtime because you keep uplifting innocent critters. :D

Have anyone used medical equipment, like lasers and scapels, as improv weapons?
