Need pics of Enclosed Air/Raft

I'm working on deckplans for the Traveller game I got into over at Obsidian Portal, and need some nice views of an Enclosed Air/Raft. I know I have seen some, but I have so many Traveller books that it is hard to remember where, and my search so far has been fruitless.

I'm not talking about the big G-Carrier, just an air/raft enclosed against weather and vacc-tight for use as a space taxi. I think it is either 4 tons like a regular air/raft, or maybe six tons - seems it had larger passenger capacity. Maybe included with Safari Ship? Unfortunately I can't find that right now.

Any help appreciated.

Found pics of miners' "space buggy" in Seeker illustration in CT Traders & Gunboats, and that could work, but I could swear I've seen another one somewhere, just basically a grav minivan for the high-tech family that doesn't like to get rained on while going on errands.

Try this out.

I think what you are looking for is at the bottom of the 1st page.

Thanks, I will go have a look. Just want to jot down some numbers before I forget. Went outside and measured king-cab pickup truck for reference. Six feet wide, 18 feet long; bed is 8 feet long so that is 10 for passengers plus engine compartment. Seats five comfortably; would seat six if front seat were bench instead of two bucket seats.

Minor confusion: some of these say they can carry 2 or 3 tons of cargo in addition to 4 to 6 passengers - but the whole vehicle is only 2 or 3 dTons in size (4 or 6 deckplan squares; 10 feet (3m) wide by either 10 or 15 feet (3m or 4.5m) long. So basically, the vehicle could carry another vehicle identical to itself in cargo? Perhaps this is more of the confusion between tons of weight/mass versus tons of volume used in ship design (which I usually call dTons to avoid that confusion).

Maybe they pack extra cargo in around the passengers, which is why a vehicle 10 feet wide can only carry two passengers abreast. ;)

This is a good one for gaming and use in ships plans.

Copy/improvement on the Safari Ship van. Still only two front seat passengers in a vehicle 3m wide; I guess the controls are very complex. Those rear bench seats now, you could comfortably sleep on either one. I'd guess 3 passengers on the middle bench, maybe 4 or 5 on the rear? So total passenger capacity of 10, enough for a good sized player group plus some NPCs! (I wonder what the listed cargo capacity is?)

The whole site is good. I would recommend looking at both of these:

Lots of cool stuff; bookmarked for later exploration, thanks!

Here is what I ended up going with. Basic exterior outline from the Hunting Van in the Safari Ship adventure.

Like most enclosed air/rafts, this one has no airlock, so even though it is pressurized for use as a space taxi from ship to ship, it needs a sealed berth or spacedock to land in to let out or take on passengers.

I made three rows of seats for the interior, on the assumption that it mostly carries passengers, but the seats can fold down into the floor to allow transport of up to 3 dTons of cargo. (Yeah, yeah, the whole vehicle is only about 3 dTons in size itself, but this is traditional Traveller magic for air/raft cargo capacity.)

Use as you wish:
