New printing or version of the T20 rulebook?

There seriously needs to be a new printing or version published of the T20 rulebook. I looked high and low for one, but it is out of stock everywhere. And the few places (Amazon, Ebay, etc.) where people still have a copy, it is going for much more than the original cover price.

Yeah, I know I can get it in pdf, but I don't like pdf's. I want it in a hard copy without having to get it printed out myself. If a new version is out of the question, how about offering it for sale on Lulu? That way people could still get a hardcopy.

ps- I lucked up and bought a used copy at a very reasonable price from someone on rpg.net's trading board.

I'll have a softbound version of the THB out here soon (need to get the site transfer finished first), but the price will likely be the same as the old hardback. I've also got the Guidebook which I'll be working on after the server and getting the THB back into print.

Cool! What is this Guidebook you speak of?

The guidebook, unless I am mistaken, is the Players Guide for T20 that Martin Dougherty wrote a while back. It has extra rulesy stuff and the like. The playtest files are in the moot (or were when last I was a member).

Its just taken a while to come out, is all.

Will the products still come out now that Mongoose had the Traveller license? This is wierd.

Release Dates?

Is there a expected release date for the Traveller Guidebook / Players Book? I could really do with some of the non-combat oriented classes for my game. The classes in the T20 Handbook seem to be weighted toward the service classes. The only class for creating technicians and diplomats is the Professional, or possibly the Noble class.

Well, each license holder has to make their own choice about what to do now. Hunter has three years left on his license, so if he doesn't carry on releasing products something is seriously wrong.

I'm not really the guy to ask, though, I just did odd jobs around here back in the day. I doubt Martin would know as he mostly just wrote the books - the business stuff has always been Hunter's bit.

As said I still have three years left to product Traveller material under our current license. We've got a few plans up our sleeve yet ;)

As I said previously give me a chance to finish the server move and I'll be getting a new planned release schedule posted shortly thereafter.

I really am looking foreward to seeing more materials other then the TAS books that keep appearing. I noticed a forum thread for creating starports....stuff like that sounds like great material and I really hope it gets printed.

Once it will be out I'll order it, provided that you accept PayPal payments and ship to Israel. Hopefully it'll be out before December and I could buy it as a birthday present for my girlfriend (her birthday is December 24 so if I order it in late November it'll probably be here in time even with surface mail).

Bitterly disappointed

I for one am bitterly disappointed that I cannot obtain copies of T20, despite the fact that this very website lists it as being available in print now, and being listed in Alliance's game catalog as being orderable.

If it were available, I could easily sell 6 copies in the first month, and probably at least 20 copies a year, between our two stores.
