I'm going to repeat a suggestion that I've made a couple of times before, because I really like the idea and consider it one that should be pushed.

"The first treatment of the subject should, IMO, be People of Charted Space. This book would feature 8-page1 writeups of the Big Eight (Aslans, Centaurs, Hivers, Imperials2, Solomani, Vargr, Vilani, and Zhodani) and the Ubiquitous Two (Bwaps and Droyne). Also 4-page, 2-page, and 1-page3 writeups of a selection of interesting races and cultures (e.g. Darrians, Imperial Aslan, Sword Worlders, Syleans, Vegans, Vlazdumecta), and a list of all officially accepted minor races, human and non-human (NOT an exhaustive list; just the ones that have been written up so far that are accepted (which is a good opportunity to decanonize a few squibs)). Also articles about the Major Race-Minor Race controversy and about human races.

1 Eight pages because that makes it easy to turn them into handouts.
2 Not a race, but as the largest ethnic group of Charted Space it is of comparable importance to the others.
3 More potential handouts.

That sounds like a good idea.

Added to the Poll List.

I'd like to see more support for Zho characters (primarily during the Golden Era). A ship book (like CT Fighting Ships), a similar book for vehicles, a similar book for weapons, something to flesh out various Zho organisations, a number of adventures, and several world write-ups.

Ditto for the Vargr.

Ditto for the Aslan.

Ditto for the Solomani.

etc.

The various Alien Modules have been good introductions but there should be more.

I've updated the poll with the "People of Charted Space" suggestion.

Glad to see I was not the only person voting for more deckplans, at current such running second place on the poll.

Myself, seeing some 'niche' deckplans would be welcome, such as frontier-deep space facilities not quite as large or expansive as major world high ports but necessary 'off-ramp' rest-stops and fuel-centers that dot the lesser traveled lanes of commerce.

Also some updating of deckplans related to the IISS, in particular the briefly described but yet as seen, Express Boat Stations and the support ships related to such.

One other consideration might be a salvage yard book referencing surplus-decommissioned naval vessels available for purchase for commercial-private service, more-so support or ancillary vessels than defanged warships. But that said, could include various small-craft such as G-carriers, assault landers or ship's boats-gigs devoid of weaponry but otherwise fully functional for non-combat roles as 'industrial strength' transports than traditional craft (think HMMVs VS civilian Hummers).

Truck stops, eh? ;) That sounds interesting to me, too. Somewhat modular, perhaps.

Another good suggestion -- and there might be some traction to this idea.

Oh yes, please! Frontier stations would be most welcome!
