Out of curiosity - Will there be a new edition of 2300AD?

Hello there,

I like the Star Cruiser design rules, I only wish they had expanded them to cover pentapod and kafer technology.

thank you. I will look into them as soon as I have the rules-set. Today I felt a decision. And I think there is no way I will get around the original 2300 AD material. But considering what you mentioned about the Mongoose-edition I will get the core-rules as well.

Thank you all for your advice.

Best wishes!
Liam

If your real interest is just fluff, then I would highly recommend taking a look at Jovian Chronicles from Dream Pod 9. The Spacers Handbook and almost any of the other books do an incredible job of portraying life in a hard sci-fi version of the Solar System. The art is pretty anime but the game is most definitely not. It also has the most understandable explanations of many space/stellar concepts that I've come across.

Spacers Handbook is excellent for fluff on microgravity/colony cylinder living. Dealing with small personal space onboard ships etc.

The anime conceits are small humaniform combat vehicles, and the visual look. But, yeah, it's excellent. (It was originally a setting developed for Mekton II by Ianus Games.)
