does it have some kind of gravitic control? if it does then it perhaps it could be some kind of grav - bike?, grav-pod?, allowing actual planetside transport. if not then you might include a parachute for the final landing and maybe a cargo compartment for gear.

and I very much appreciate your depiction of them not only in flight but in their launch bays and on their access decks, the way player characters would encounter them. too many traveller graphics show vehicles and equipment isolated from their environments.

The Star Citizen ship design people have an interesting take for the smaller ships-

your bed is your escape pod.

I don't think they do reentry, supposed to be space pickup, but it is an interesting dual-use of the ship space available.

Of course, most of these ships are just a few day type ships, not long term accommodations like we need for our week(s).
