I am so sad to have missed out on this thread the first time!

I should have invited Magnus von Thornwood to Tampa's Gasparilla parade, a pirate themed Mardi Grass rip-off, that has City invaded and taken over by pirates. Quite a drunken bacchanal with 100,000 of your closest friends. And we have one for the kiddies. And a (questionable) football team named after Pirates.

I mean 1/2 the town gets drunk that weekend and the other 1/2 leaves town.

Local good guys are baffled by the sudden increase in equine floggings, some of which have led to the early demise thereof.

Ima Figurehead, local good guy PR officer, was quoted as saying, "We find no correlations in the seeming random and unrelated incidents. We good guys cannot determine reason or motive based on location, time, or object of the floggings other than that it involves equines.

"Other curiosities found at these incidents have been eyepatches, jaunty caps with feathers, broken arrows, scale models of cannons, and reference materials of a gaming nature.

"We also have a report of a missing miniature horse, but believe it to be unrelated."
